Assistive technology refers to tools and devices that help people with disabilities perform tasks more easily, improving their independence and quality of life. Here are a few examples.

The item like the previous one acts as an activation device with simple touch-sensitive activation of the plate being pressed down or tapped and is made with a similar color palette to provide easy visibility however the main difference of the form of this device to the prior is the angled form that allows different situations to prefer this, like as one to keep by your foot underneath your desk.

3x5 Plate Switch

This Item is a pressure plate that can activate different controls linked to it when the plate is either tapped on or held down, tapping and holding can have different commands linked to it and don’t have to do the same thing. The plate of the device has a large area and is very sensitive/easy to activate for easier use for people with harder to use motor skills; this is accompanied by the bright contrasted colors to provide a very accessible experience.

Wireless Vertical Mouse

The item is a mouse with the same use of the average mouse however this specific mouse is made for those with hands that don’t have the same functionality, this was kept in mind by the manufacturers as it has it’s form made to compliment function with the added bonus of a clean black look with additional buttons on the side for extra utility.
